In all honesty, I rarely got into trouble because I almost never was caught doing anything wrong.
My folks weren't yellers at all. My dad would do the silent look over the top of his glasses and you'd just collapse inside... he was a very sweet, dear dad and it was awful to think of disappointing him.
My mom on the other hand... she and I were like oil and water at times and I could have a smart mouth. I would get the "Just go up to your room" a lot. It was a decent-sized room with a lot of toys and books and a stereo, and I loved it.
Inevitably she would come upstairs and knock on the door and say, "I just made tea. Why don't you come down, I put chocolate chip cookies in the oven."
Yes, remarkably so. Never once in my life saw them argue, neither did my brother. Or even openly disagree with each other. Never a harsh word heard between them _ not one. They had been married for 45 years when my dad died. :(
No, because I don't think they are planning a multi-band festival for PJ20. I think they're planning a couple of shows in a destination location. Which would be fine with me _ too many drunken fools and non-necessarily-PJ-fans at a festival.

Honestly, I've only been to one movie at the theatre in at least two years, and that's only cause I was entertaining my niece (it was Toy Story 3, so it worked out well).
I would like to see True Grit, Black Swan, and a few others. True Grit looks awesome. Have you seen it yet?

That's funny, it's my birthday too this weekend. We're going to drive out to China Beach and Port Renfrew. Take the camera and fishing rods and see what happens. Then back to town for a Vietnamese dinner, a movie and then some mint chocolate b-day cake. Should be awesome
