The version is from the San Diego show? I just youtubed it and Ed fucked the lyrics up bad...this version made the record? How does it sound?

    It sounds good, but they have definitely spliced in some unscrewed up parts for a bunch of the songs. Alive from Philly 4, and I have a feeling that they have cut in something on In Hiding as well. Gotta hear the original version of that one to know for sure.

    the one on the record has the screwed up lyrics.

    as great as this album sounds (thanks to brett eliason's genius), some of the selections have me scratching my head. not only are the lyrics flubbed quite a bit on got some, but eddie sounds half out of breath for much of the song. there are at least a dozen versions of unthought known that are better than the one on the album.. eddie doesn't quite hit the 'gems and rhinestones' line, and mike flubs his lead a bit. public image is sloppy, animal's a little flat..

    i don't mean to sound like a whiner, but it doesn't seem like the band put out the best compilation they could have. i suppose i'm just spoiled..
    i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
