    my personal opinion is that "mid-week" is not 100% that it will be Wednesday. i wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything today.

    i am sooo anxious to hear the news! ... i did want to put in my two cents about festival announcements - i really really really want pearl jam to announce they will be @ austin city limits (acl) today (or whenever this tweet finally spits out the news =) however, i am very skeptical that this will be the case ... acl keeps a VERY tight lid on their lineup & the security seems to increase with each year ... so my speculation is we will not be getting U.S. festival announcements for this tweet but hopefully some tour dates *fingers crossed* ... rumor has it acl*s lineup will be released on april 15th however i can*t find a time when it was ever released before may ...

    i posted this in the other tread, but felt like anyone reading this might want to know.

    i work with a copmany that does sound/light/stage for shows around the country. the owner did say that there were going to be scattered US shows along with European ones.

    another trustworthy contact said that CT "looked promissing" for a show this summer.

    I am really surprised that Connecticut has been so strongly rumored. It was 8 years in between shows from 98 to 06. I live in West Hartford, and I don't even want to go to Hartford. Jim Koplik must have promised Eddie a lot of wine or something.

    I hope they play a show at the Dodge but it would be better (maybe not cheaper) if they played Mohegan Sun or the Chevrolet Theater.

    i highly doubt they would play Chevrolet, its too small. Unless they do multiples there. Mohegan is the same size (5,000) My guess would be the Dodge.

    haha just picturing that is hilarious! I have to admit, I'm guilty as well, but I've been doing it at work and with my boss in the cubicle next to me! lol

    I have actually taken a step back from the madness today. Yesterday I had my laptop running and didnt get anything done all day. Today though, I won't turn the laptop on, just gonna check in on the computer in another room every half hour or so. Seems a healthier way to go to me. The news isnt gonna be gone just cuz I see it an hour after it hits.
    Well, do you need a lot of what you've got to survive?
