    make sure you get high bit rate, high quality recordings. low quailty stuff makes my speakers hurt.

    got me.

    i got a ton of 2000 shows from leatherman's site. it was in flac and i converted to a high bit rate file.....but only because i'm a dork and have a ton of space on my ipod and need the higher rates for sound quality.

    nothing wrong with sound quality...and my ipod has a ton of space on it...put a bunch of CDs on it and still only using 2% ....wanna PM me some download sites? ;)

    How do you convert them from flac to a high bit rate file? Do you have to have a program to do this? I have looked into it a little but not real sure. :?

    memory fuzzy.

    i had a program that i downloaded from (cnet?) it's been a while since i've done a conversion and since the last time, i had to reload windows and lost all my programs like that. it's easy to do

    what's up with torrent files? I read that there are some cool files, but I also saw that someone's computer crashed because of them....

    i've not heard or read that rule, and i scoured this site during my vacation. then again, i didn't see the rule agaist changing your name and avatar to be similar to someone else either.

    i believe the key is to not make 10 threads on the topic back to back to back.

    i guess some are just unwritten.

    never used that system. to me, it sounded sort of like napster (old school) system. you grab files off of other peoples computers and you share files from your system
