    I have a pair in my Element at all times, and I use them a lot when we're at agility tournaments. Had them on last weekend in upstate New York. It warmed up and the road and grounds became a bit of a mudbath. In the summer I wear them when walking the first course of the day at the outdoor trials, because often the grass is quite wet from the dew. We have really humid summers in New England.

    Also have others I have at home for heavy rain.

    What are your rain/mud boots like?

    The brand is Muck Boots and they come up about mid calf. They are just a standard black. Not a fashionable boot, just for function. We have very humid weather, too.

    Are yours stylish?

    These are mine. One of my friends bought them for me as a present when Sailor earned his second championship. I just love them and call them my Julee Boots.

    Her name is Julee. So when I put them on, I say to the dogs, "Let me put on my Auntie Julee boots!" and they all wag their tails. Which, of course, is what they do when I say, "It's morning, I'm going to take a shower!" Or, "It's time to go to the vet to get your shots!" or "Frigging Mr. Unlost left another diet soda can on the counter!"

    Are you as easy to please as they are? :lol:

    Beats me, I'm an Dunkin' Donuts girl.

    I recall a serendipitous finding at Grand Central Station when I found both a Dunkin' Donuts and a Krispy Kreme in close proximity and thoroughly enjoyed the sinful indulgence of a Large Cream Only from DD with a glazed from KK. It was caffeine and cholesterol heaven.

    Probably to the yacht club for beers. Mr. Unlost is between 24 hour shifts and right now he's sound asleep on the couch on the front porch. But if I go out there and say something, he'll wake up in an instant. I guess that's a good thing in a firefighter...

    I think fondue sounds like a lot of fun. Will there be beers too?

    it takes like 2 hours to eat there because you have to cook all your food in the fondue pot. You have to have something to entertain yourself with right?

    Not very considering it is very cold here. Probably a sweater and jeans as well. Layer it up.


    Do you ever wonder if your animals see things in the house that you don't? They freak me out sometimes staring at the corners like something is there.

    And yeah when my cat starts randomly meowing at something, it really really freaks me out. Or when she'll watch some invisible thing move and her head will be following it . very creepy
