Since the "announcement" I seemed to have developed a small health problem I am becoming quite concerned with.....it's like ticking in my head....an incessant tick, tock, tick tock, tick tock....it occurs all day and for most of the evening. I get a slight reprieve from the ticking when i get to my computer to check this site....and then it resumes....constantly ticking in the back of my mind....tick tock tick tock tick tock....am i alone on this one or will all this waiting drive me mad?

I smell a DVD or 2 in the other surprise releases. Can't wait! Hopefully it's the Spectrum set. I know a lot of casual fans bought the CD box set so I think a DVD would do well.
Also can't wait for the re-issues....and the movie....and the book. It's going to be a great year.

A best of Spectrum DVD would be awesome as would a touring band 2010.

That would be much much better than just 1 of the shows. I understand why the last show would be the obvious choice for being released but there were so many other great songs/moments the previous nights as well. Did they professionally shoot all 4 shows?
I would love to get a live show on DVD with the Vs. / Vitalogy release.
The MTV Unplugged with the Ten reissue was a great choice.
Now I hope for a great show from the 1993-1995 era. A mix like TB200 would be amazing!
Plus some unreleased songs, and dreams come true.
As for the sound quality, an improvement like we had with Ten is not possible, since both albums had good / great production.
Maybe we will finally see the release of the completely finished and edited South Pacific tour film. I have seen it and can say I would love to see a high quality version. I could definitely see that coming out. I know posts about that usually get deleted...hopefully this isn't.

Here's hoping! Any re-issues or movies or books would be released to the masses but if they were thinking of a bunch of unreleased tracks or demos seeing the light of day it would make sense for them to be a 10C only release.

Looking forward to everything coming our way in 2011 but right now I'm focused on the re-issues since they'll probably be first. Since these albums don't need any remastering I'm hoping for some outtakes or possible extra tracks left over from the recording, maybe a different take or different versions of some songs. Expanded liner notes would be cool with stories from the band and/or brendan o'brien. Would love to see something about the vitalogy concept/artwork. maybe an interview with a band member or maybe even expanded artwork. I had never seen anything like that when it came out, the packaging added a lot of mystique to the record. Photos from the recording sessions would be great, maybe even some footage? (thats probably asking too much)...and of course a high quality sounding recording of a 93-94 live show. I'm sure whatever we get will be of the highest quality. Would be sweet if they release super-deluxe versions of both records with everything I mentioned. Cant wait!!!!
We just had a little one this year, so I doubt I'll be doing the camping trip/slumber party thing this summer.
But...I'm sure it'll be awesome...And hopefully You Tubed.

I doubt that they'll be as expansive as the TEN album, but hopefully some added goodies to make it worth the buy. Either way, It'll be cool to have these on vinyl since I missed out the first time around.
Can't wait for the Cameron Crowe movie, soundtrack, and book.
