i'd love it, but you can't disrespect matt like that. 10 years strong, he's the man going into the hall of fame with them.

From the way your post is phrased, you seem to assume that Matt couldn't play Who You Are.

    Do you seriously think that?

I'd rather just have Matt play. He can do it all, he's the man, and he's their drummer.

Absolutely not, Matt is my favorite PJ drummer, but there's gotta be a reason why they haven't played Who You Are since Matt joined the band... I think that reason is Jack.

I think that's not a bad idea. I would love to hear Jack on the No Code songs. But would Matt be insulted? It wouldn't be worth doing if it hurt his feelings or jeopardized his relationship with the rest of the band.

Fair enough. Maybe it's a band edict that they don't play it without Jack.

But then, when Ed played with Jack and Flea, why didn't they bust it out?

I would LOVE to hear it. And the old In My Tree. They should change that song up every other time they play it.

I like all the drummers for one reason or another but Matt is by far my favorite.
But to say that he couldn't physically play the song is ridiculous. He is in a jazz band in his downtime and can bring the flavor needed for Who You Are. He has played every song from No Code live except for Who You Are.

I really hope Ed busts out who you are during the solo tour, it is REEEEEEEEEEEEEEally easy to play on guitar and would sound nice solo!
