Fender strat re-issues

For those of you who have owned them , is there any real difference(besides the price) between a basic re-issue 1960 strat versus a Custom Shop re-issue 1960 strat ? I am considering a purchase and would appreciate the opinions of those who have played them .

    No real difference, a strat is a strat, they are both excellent quality. The custon shop is going to have more custom options like high end electronics, S-1 switching, rolled necks etc. The both sound like strats should. Go to a guitar center that has a Fender Room and try both.
