Explain to me why we can't joke about religion?
Its a free country. You can be the biggest jerk you want to be.

Why don't you go to Iran and make fun of Muhammed?
I think you will find on A Moving Train, Religon isn't held in the highest respect.
Personally i don't make fun of religon, but i'm certainly not offended by it.

Why go there if he/she can do it here?

If there were jokes about Muhammed here, the thread would be locked.

I guess small things like these are what make us mature adults.

this place is cest pool of individuality with no respect for each others beliefs and the same people whine and cry when a different opinion other than theirs is brought into the mix, if someone wants to write a story about his gay experience in the wilderness I think to my self....odd, but that's what they like and it's not place to make fun of them or judge them but on the inside I have to wonder if they have secrete fantasies of long nights with sheep, again not my cup of tea but some politically correct nuke the gay whales for obama kinda person just might enjoy such things....yes this wonderful place we call the moving train has a wide variety of people with different ideas and different ways to express them selfs (usually behind a screen name) and their wild desires and to them I say party on Wayne party on Garth
get on the train and fondle your secrete fantasies  ...I mean if thats what people like.. hay it's not my business right ? .....HAY IT'S JOKE !...I know there is no such thing as gay whales

    It's all crazy to me.

I can never figure out why some peoples crazy is more important than another persons crazy.

    You're all crazy.

Because here in America (well, I'm in Canada) there is a right to free speech. Just as religious people have the right to espouse their beliefs, I can share my opinions on those beliefs.

  • Maybe this will be of interest. Bethlehem was a small town at the time, and since many had to go there to register, the rooms most likely filled up quickly.

The living arrangements 2000 were not ours today. Many people lived in two-story dwellings, family on top and animals on the bottom floor. This is probably where Mary and Joseph found a space, and could have been with relatives.

As for the night time birth, I was born at 4:13am, as are many babies. But maybe God had a reason, the night sky would've have shown the star better and the Angel's were probably very awesome lit up in the night sky for the shepherds.
