Frankk, hope you don't mind...I compiled all of the pictures you posted and put them all together...looks so cool when you see them all together!
    Thanks Lizard...you inspired me!

The Story of My Pearl Jam Mug…
Crafted by Dirty Frankk, his wife, and all of their friends!

One day I saw you and HAD to have one!
    P6208691.jpg

    here we go!!!

...this squares are going to be your mugs ;)

    PB220185-1.jpg
    PB220190-1.jpg
    ...this is how it goes

    PB220191-1.jpg
first 4 mugs...50 plus to go

    PB220187-1.jpg

I think we have 70 mugs, that is a nice number ;)

    PB220195-1.jpg
    PB220194-1.jpg

Tomorrow is a next step, handles

    PB230198-1.jpg

Yesterday was time to put the handles on the mugs, so this is how it goes
    PB230200-1.jpg
    PB230201-1.jpg
    PB230202-1.jpg
    PB230203-1.jpg
    PB230204-1.jpg

Next step was (not sure what is the right word) sponging...when you use wet sponge to smooth the surface before painting.

    PB240205-1.jpg
    PB240207-1.jpg
    PB240210-1.jpg
    PB240222-1.jpg

We start with painting today... ;)

Hello everyone, it's a Monday, new working day for mugs...the colors are done ;)
    Red
    Black
    Light Blue
    Navy Blue
    Lime Green
and just few Purple (like special edition ;) ) )

    PB260223-1.jpg

we called our friend Maja to help us with paiting

    PB260224-1.jpg
    PB2602227-1.jpg
    PB2790231-1.jpg

This is the ceramics kiln, mugs are ready to fire for the first time on the temperature of 1040 °c - 1904 degree Fahrenheit and it's stay inside for about 24 hours.

    PB2290228-1.jpg

The colors are not bright yet. They must go in the kiln one more time when we put the glaze on the surface and the third time for the PJ stickers so we still have a lot of firing to do. ;)

    PB2902229-1.jpg

    First firing is done

    PC010237-1.jpg
    here some more colors

    PC010236-1.jpg
and now the glaze, so they can be all shine and glossy

    PC010232-1.jpg
    PC010233-1.jpg
    PC010234-1.jpg
    PC010235-1.jpg
and now they are back to kiln for the second firing

    PC010240-1-1.jpg
here we go....the kiln is open and the colors are done

    PC020244-1.jpg
and now the stickers, the are made like silkscreen posters, same technic just different colors and paper ;)

    PC020242-1.jpg
this is all for now ;)

    PC020247-1.jpg
    PC020248-1.jpg
Now which one to put where??? This is fun

    PC020255-1.jpg
finally I get to participate here

    Hey Niko,

I have a question for you, is there any special way we should be washing these? I have a few glasses that are silk screened, and i've learned over the years not to put them in the diswasher because the lengthy time exposed to a high heat + the cleaning process tends to destroy the images screened on.... So I will definitely be washing this by hand.... but I'm wondering if there's anything else you would recommend?

My wife Iva is going to give you guys few advise on this latter ;)

this is so amazing and generous and special and THANK YOU

I didn't know pearl jam mugs existed! - I was just thinking how amazing it would be to sit and have my morning coffee and before bed tea in a "something pearl jam"

I can't believe all of the hard work you've done and just how amazing they look

I just love that however-whenever-wherever there is a pearl jam fan somewhere out there always willing to give or lend a hand (car, ticket, smile) out of the love we all share!
