    something tells me these guys would be playing music anyway regardless of how big the fans made them...at this point it's a career for them, but even if it wasn't i'm sure they'd be playing in one group or another because they are true musicians. my point is that we did make them big, but we didn't make them...i hate to go here but you never know what life deals anyone and this all could end tomorrow. therefore they don't owe us shit...we owe it to them to keep them going strong if we like what they are doing.

    I was pretty sure PJ was going to pack it in for a year or so, so the Tweet really surprised me. Then I got that "members only" email about 20% off on Black Friday (along with similar emails from The Who, Tom Petty, Best Buy, Etc. Etc.). If this is what the Tweet was about, it's a bit of a letdown.

    It's kind of funny there seem to be many here that just blew off the email as not connected to the Tweet. Here's hoping Kat will either confirm or deny the relationship between the tweet and 20% off sale.

    Listening to the Akl boot on PJRadio right now(1 year since our concert boohoo) & Ed just said "we just talked about it in the bag & it won't be 11 years till we're back I promise. Maybe we'll come stay for 11 years" so fingers seriously crossed (youch! ;) ) that if he's coming to Oz he'll jump across the ditch to NZ!!!

    The Black Friday coupon is not what the Tweet was about. Patience...something Tweet worthy will be announced.

    I have a stupid question---when a tweet is announced by the mods, does that almost always mean a tour of some sort, or at least a few shows are going to be announced? Or have other things been announced via "TWEET" (say a new album or something). I didn't join until after Backspacer came out and I've only been around for one of the tweets, so I'm just curious seeing how there seems to be a lot of speculation about it's meaning.

    it's the day after thanksgiving in the United States and the "official" start of the christmas shopping season. It's tradionally, the day retail companies books turn black. ie, they start making a profit.
