Pearl Jam on Sesame Street!

I am lucky enough to have a one year old daughter, and one cool thing i've noticed is that some cool people have been on sesame street. Obviously would not have come across this if I didn't have to entertain my daugther on youtube, but it got me me thinking! Wouldn't it would be cool if the band did a song, or just Eddie as it may a little overwhelming on Elmo to have everybody. Eddie has a unqiue charm about him and could easily see him singing something with Elmo! LOl
I'm not big on these forums, and not sure if the band reads it or not but I'll just put it into the universe. I first want to thank-you guys for creating the music you have. I don't think I've heard another voice more than Eddie's aside from my parents. I listen the rob almost all day at work from 7-5, and then on the way to and from work. My wife thinks i'm nuts but she doesn't get it, and if i had to explain it she wouldn't understand.
I love the fact that you have catered to us the fan so well. I know some of these principals came from the greatful dead camp, but god fucking bless. You guys put out such good music and you appreciate us the fan as much as we appreciate you guys. How fucking cool is Pearl Jam? The only negative thing that comes from being a Pearl Jam fan, is that its hard listening to other bands with the same ear. Of course they're are some bands that will always be great, but when you don't feel appreciated as much by them as you do with Pearl Jam, its kind of like a fuck you to them and in a weird way i feel as though they don't deserve it as much as Pearl Jam does.
couple fo thoughts that i think about when listening to them
1) I don't believe in God etc, but i somehow believe that Eddies biological father set it up in the universe to get him those songs in the beginning, and has somehow given him these talents in order to make up for what he lost as a child. I can't imagine what emotions Eddie has had from all of this, and would love to ask him about all of this, but maybe another life. There have been people that get tapped in life by higher spirits and like it or not Eddie is one of them, and I wonder if his dad has something to do with it? I know its a contradiciton to my first line but?
2) If the band was so pissed about ticketmaster in the day, why did they not get 20 other bands together all throw in 5 million each and start up their own ticket agency. Eddie is really good friends with some big artists, heck I'll run the f'n thing.
3) I cannot understand the bitching and moaning by some of the fans on this board about anything the band does, does not do etc. Of course I want them to play toronto every week-end and have Eddie sing at my birthday parties but wtf?
4) At the end of the day these guys are just like you and I except when they put their pants on they make gold records, they get to party with other rock super stars, have model wives, surfing, travelling! (more cowbell LOL)...what a fucking life man, these guys have not forgotten where they came from but I'm sure there is a lot of "why me" .......when were asking "why not me?"
5) I was at the solo concert when Mr. Vedder played Massey Hall. My life in concerts was complete after this show, there is nothing now i have to see, only want to see. For those of you who do not know this is a very special venue in toronto, the home of Neil Young...
6) Lyrics and songs that just give me chills and not sure how the fuck they do it? How can one band make so many songs that cater to me as a listener. I'm baffled by this. There are songs i skipped over 5 years ago that now i can't pass without playing 50x (Lukin, Leash)
7) keep on rocking in the free world like you guys have been.
8) apologies for my grammar and spelling...

Secondly, the rest of your post is right on...well said.
I totally get what you're saying about ed's words speaking to you specifically.
I know I've been blasted on here before for saying this, but I'll say it again anyway:
There are so many songs, that when I listen, it seems as if Ed was right inside my head when he wrote them.
How he does this I'll never fathom...but it seems to apply to so many of us, that it just has to come from somewhere we'll never understand. Ed is a true genius in his words and music, and how deeply it touches us is a testament to a talent that will IMHO never be surpassed.
So happy to read your thoughts.
peace,
