Has everyone already forgotten about the Philly shows announcement? The rumour mill had them playing ten shows in Outer Mongolia before they were announced. Sounds like many of you would have never survived the old postcard days when snail mail took your picks, tenc sorted them out, and we waited for snail mail to see what shows we got. Then you also had to get a money order too. Consider this something to be grateful for rather than an inconvenience and enjoy the season of peace & love with friends & family.

I work for a membership based non-profit organization and we are regularly asked for information we either do not have or cannot give out. We do not ignore those requests. If it is information we do not have, we seek it out. If it is for information we cannot give out, we let the member know that and ask them to be patient. Ignoring your members is not the way to go.
A simple "not today, maybe tomorrow but probably Monday" or even "honestly guys we don't know any more than you do but are working to find out" would go a long way towards calming things down around here.

If they could reply they would, I cant imagine how many emails they are getting while working on other more important things, when the info is ready it will be released. I don’t think we are entitled to calling out 10C, if you're really going to get this upset with 10C over a board post then maybe things need to be reevaluated in life. This is supposed to be something fun, not something we harass 10C about, they are too good to us. For the price, what fan club takes better care of their members? I’m with 10C, silence is golden until the time is right.

What difference does it make if you heard the news yesterday? If it is a tour, tickets always go on sale within the next week or later, and an email is sent to all members with details. Even if they make the announcement next week, the ticket presale still wouldnt be for a while after the announcement.

It actually makes a big difference. If I recall correclty, the last time tihs happened we only had a few days after the tweet to the day the tickets went on sale (to plan for travel and get tickets this is tough)
Also, with thanksgiving two days away, some people might not be in the best position to focus on this. Personally, I am going to be without an internet connection for a few days, so i'd like to know what's going in case I need to scramble for tickets!

The tweet clearly says to make sure your address is up-to-date which is not normally part of the tour announcement tweets. To me it is obvious that since Eddie is the one that likes to head out solo, he will be stopping by one random fans house for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. Instead of waiting around all day yesterday and today for a tour announcement, people need to be calling their moms to let them know they won't be able to make it for dinner on Thrusday so they can sit around and wait for Eddie's arrival. Start cleaning people because company is coming.
