  • Ok, now I am as anxious as the next person for some news, BUT, the tweet said that memberships and addresses needed to be up to date by the end of the weekend. It didn't really imply that there would be news on Monday (or Tuesday for us who are in the future!), to me it implies that Sunday night would be the cutoff date to be a member for something that may be coming up. And would they really be likely to say something is happening, and then sell tickets within 24 hours? Wouldn't they give a couple of days notice for that at least? Just my opinion.

    Hey Sarah

I don't think they would sell them straight away, but within a a day or 2 is probable.

I'm just hoping it is true. That's why I am so eager.

They have started selling tickets on the day of an announcement before – caused a lot of problems.

Also, as far as I can remember the membership cut off date for tickets to a show is always the day before the announcement.
Take me for a ride before we leave...

Hey Anthony. :) Me too. I get it. I'm sitting here refreshing my computer as well - checked first thing this morning when I woke up at like 6am, and yeah, within a day or two, ok. BUT, I just think it's pointless for people to get mad at the mods for something people have assumed, when it hasn't been specifically said. But hey, like I said, I am waiting for news that I hope is true, just like everyone else here!! :)

Ok, well, my mistake, although I'm not sure that was the case with the Aussie tickets last year - I thought there was a couple of days between the cut off date and the announcement. I could be wrong, it's a possibility.

I was remembering how it always seems the official news comes the day AFTER everyone is led to believe they will with the "tweets." I think we'll be checking in on Tuesday, people!

As Ed so often says, "THANKYOUGOODNIGHT!"

See? SEE?! It's ALWAYS the day after when you think it's gonna be! If they said make sure your info is up to date by Wednesday, they ain't announcing shit till Thursday!

Alright, I think I got it. "WTH" stands not for "what the hell", but actually "World Tour, Holla!" :D

No seriously though, I think an EV solo doing some openings for Soundgardern on their trip to Oz in 2011.

I really would have hoped for a big ass anniversary tour.

I was a bit anxious to find out the news but I didn't lose any sleep over it. 10c have a history of playing silly buggers (it's out of their hands when they announce stuff anyway, they're told by management). We'll know when we know.
