And while the wizard of oz has nothing to do with Australia, the powers that be have referred to Aus as Oz in the past.
I have come to believe that PJ plays the northeast to please its large fanbase, festivals for the cash, and all the other shows are scheduled based upon where and when the band wants to travel.
That being said, I dont see them touring the US in the dead of winter.
My guess is that it wouldn't start until the Spring and start out West(Seattle, There's no place like home) and then go to the midwest and ending in the East. However the presale would be much sooner.Member 164xxx

Okay, so exactly how much snow is falling in Seattle???
Patience may be a virtue, but being virtuous is never much fun anyway.
Waiting on the news (im)patiently in NJ.0 -
Im betting 20-25 solo date starting in May ending @ the end of June early July in Chicago (Cubbies play Yanks @ Wrigley end of June, would be solid!) also, it won't be announced, but I'm anxious to see if there is a gap (if he is playing solo) between June 9-12, a lot of Eddie Solo @ Bonnaroo talk. 12 east coast, 12 west coast kind of thing though is what I'm thinking and hoping. Another thing that can't be announced though, I think PJ is going to be one of the headliners @ Lollapalooza this season for the 20th anniversary, just my own prediction.0

Yeah because that is what Matt really wants to do, Play for 5+ hours a night over a long tour. Sorry buddy, unrealistic and definitely not happening unless PJ has a different drummer for the tour.
wow, someone got up on the wrong side of bed.....so handsome, yet so negative....tut, tut
Nope, just being realistic and thanks for the compliment.
As much as I would like that, Matt is physically drained after a show, just look at the last DVD. I just can't see him doing back to back shows.
heehee....didn't wanna be rude...but not like I called u gorgeous, so the hubs won't get mopey
I hear ya though...I don't see Matt doing that willingly. But everyone is just full of speculation here and of course everyone wants the boys to play their neck of the woodsif I keep holding out,.... will the light shine through?0 -

Why would he tour solo on no new material? There are so many parts of the country that still haven't seen a show supporting Backspacer yet.Member 164xxx

Don't get me wrong, the speculation makes this completely entertaining. I just like to be the realist in the group. hahahahahahahaMember 164xxx

Isn't Matt touring with Sondgarden though? I thought that would take the band out of the game for the next few months?0 -

An announcement now for may dates? Thats not usually how the 10c rolls. But hey maybe Live Nation taught them about how you can earn more money when you have an onsale 6 months in advance.0 -

"The Lollapalooza festival will head overseas for the first time next spring, landing at O'Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile, on April 2 and 3. Founder Perry Farrell said the to-be-announced artist lineup will feature a combination of local artists and more traditional Lollapalooza acts. "We found that there are so many groups and artists that have never been to Chile. It's been fun figuring out who will be the first to get there," he said in a statement."
