The offical "I am not going to the west coast to see Eddie" thread

This is for those of us who didn't even try to get tickets today. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Eddie. But, I live in Wisconsin and can't afford to go.

Now don't get me wrong. I am not bitching about it. There just doesn't seem to be much on the boards these days other than the west coast shows.

I did watch Into the Wild last night. I really didn't feal that the movie was nearly as good as the book. There let's talk about that. ;)

    I didnt even try.

    plane tickets would have been over 1000 bucks round trip....plus hotels, time off from work, food, tickets etc...

    Im going to see Into the Wild for a second time this wednesday at a local college theatre. I thought the movie was pretty well done over all.

    i have a wedding im paying for so i had to back out of this one...its ok tho seeing how bad the hassle was today im not all that worried about it

    im waiting for pj in boston around my bday...july4th...btw i liked into the wild, it was really cool to hear eddies songs throughout but i never read the book so i cant compare..

    I'm not going either. I'm going to be in Cancun from the 3rd to the 10th.
    Even if I wasn't it woulda cost me WAY more than this trip to cancun to go see Ed.
    I'm going to wait till something closer to home, thats not a festival, is announced.

    didnt try. im in ohio, inbetween jobs, freaking out cause the 20th is my gf's b-day, and im broke, and have no idea what to do. so really, have way worse things going on in my life other then not getting to see ed play a few shows. have not seen ITW yet, but the vinyl sounds great!
