    some people need to be mean to assure (in their mind) they have the control of the situation or over other people, insecurities run deep in their minds, others need the attention and they don't know how to coop with the hardships in life in a intelligent way...

    Because someone was quite mean to me this evening and it could have ended very badly. It would be terrible if something happened to me and you people were all deprived of my witty and meaningful posts.

    And while we're at it, why do some folks think that calling someone "a little girl" is the ultimate insult? When I was a little girl I would have kicked them in the nuts for that. (I was a skinny female version of Eric Cartman.)

    No, I used to but then I smartened up. In my 20s I was the stereotypical Boston driver. But now that I drive a puttering shoebox, it requires a certain level of calm since it goes 0-to-60 in 68 seconds. Or maybe two minutes.
