what if 10c made the presale tickets more availible to people that ive closer to where they are playing??? like say for the 2 Boston shows, someone who lived 10 miles away would have a better shot than someone that lived in wisconsin. it seems fair.
I will be what i could be
Once I get out of this town

I don't like it, not just because I travel to as many shows as I can but for another big reason. What about people who live out in the middle of BFE and will never have a chance at tickets since I doubt PJ will be playing any farms (Roo aside) any time soon. This would give all of the people who live closer to the larger cities all of the tickets. No good mate no good.

Or eject fan club members who complain. The amount of complaints decreases, while everyone else's ability to get tickets increases.

    Win - Win.

Nope, not a good idea. What about the 10C members in the Midwest and the South or Imternational fans that rarely get shows? That wouldn't be fair.

I think limiting tix to one show per 10C member for these types of shows (NOT PJ ones!!) is the only way to be reasonable. I still think it's unfair that there are some who are seeing 3+ shows because of whatever reason while others get to see none when we all know TM will sell out in a heartbeat and people shouldn't be expected to pay hundreds of $ for a ticket which is what their only choice will be after Friday.

this does not hold true, due to the fact there is a lottery in place now.

There is only a lottery for seating not for tickets. You log in, you click your ass off, and you pray like hell that you get them. If not you figure out how important it is to you to go to the show and do what you need to in order to get in.

Putting a limit out there is lame. Everyone has the same chance of getting tickets. It sucks when I miss but I just try another option until I find a way in.

I have never had a problem getting tix for large venues like Alpine Valley or United Center, but the small venues like Ed's solo shows and the Vic might be better to at least have a limit of one show per member. If the Ten Club seats don't sell out after, say 3 days, then open the rest of the TC tix to any member. Just an idea.

yes definitely sucks, still hope with the public tix or waiting outside the riverside for someone with an extra ticket, luckily it's only 10 minutes away

I think the 10c website should start using Magic 8-Ball technology to determine who gets a ticket and who doesn't.

As much as I like that idea, I just can't support it because I've come to RESPECT all those fans who flew from L.A., Wisconsin, Australia, Canada, U.K....driven hours and hours cross states to see their favorite band. So if they managed to grab a pair of 10C tix before me then it's theirs and they deserve it.

Yes, it sucks to get shutout of shows in your area but what can you do...

I think limiting the ticket availability for anyone from Wisconsin is a good idea, regardless of the concert location.
