Hello no - I was a member from 2000-2003 then d-i-v-o-r-c-e came and went and didn't get back around to rejoining until 2007(ish) might have even been 2008 = the biggest perks are the seats and mine would have been killer in PHILLY and MSG 1&2 2010 - aaahh well that's the way the cookie crumblesMy Pearl Jam Fan Videos

oh yeah, just last week I wrote 10C and told them how I didn't even bother asking during 2009 or 2010 because of all the Pearl Jam stuff going on and since it has simmered down a bit could I maybe get my old number back
they said no
I understand
completely I understand
but now I have a great wife and we were meant for each other all along and that is way better than 3rd row or better at a Pearl Jam show cause no matter the seats she is always standing next to me singing alongMy Pearl Jam Fan Videos

Wouldn't have been too killer, so don't fret. We went on my hubby's '99 membership, which got us the VERY back of the floor at MSG, pretty close on the wings for the 1st couple Philly shows, but halfway back on the wings for the last 2 shows in Philly. Crazy that 11 yrs in the fanclub still leaves us longing for binoculars. All praise the lotto! I've been a member since 1998 and it just depends on the city of the show on how close I get. I have a friend that has been in even longer since 1995 or so right when they first started the Ten Club and he gets first or second row unless they do the lottery and then he is 3rd or 4th row. But I have had mine for 12 years and I get pretty close in most cities. Never 3rd row but pretty good none the less.0

our seats night 2 of msg 2010 were sick - just lucked out the way the seating fell cause there was like a concrete booth or something directly infront of us that no one was seated in and had the clearest view - sick sick sickMy Pearl Jam Fan Videos

When I first got into Pearl Jam I was 15; a silly kid in high school. Completely crazy about the band and their music, read all the lyrics, studied the songs and read the album sleeves religiously until I knew them off by heart. I spent way too much time in front of the TV with the VCR ready to record anything related to the band that might happen to come up (this was before YOU TUBE - thank goodness that exists!). One thing I never did was join Ten Club. I never really understood the benefits back then.
Then I thought I was over them because I was too "mature" to be obsessed with a band and didn't bother to join yet again. I missed a few local concerts too - included the small venue tour where they stopped in my small town.
Anyway, my obsession came back a few years ago (or shall we say it never left) and I finally joined the Ten Club. It has been an awesome thing! I mean, I won the lottery for front row in Buffalo (and after 13 years of obsessing I guess I deserved it
).
BUT, I can't stop thinking about how stupid it was of me not to have joined years and years ago - I probably would have seen the band from 3rd or 4th row the past 5 or 6 shows. Now I'm kicking myself!
Please tell me I'm not the only one...
You're not. Committed fan since '92, didn't join 10C till 2003. Although the benefits for European fans were considerably less untill recent years.93: Slane

I have been a fan pretty much from the start but didn't join the 10c till 2006.....you wanna talk about kicking yourself in the ass!!! I should be 3rd row every show dammit!! But I can't complain, it's my own dumb fault!
most of the time i will buy fan club tix AND get a few from other sources....I have been front row once, 3rd row once, 6th row once, 7th row once and 11th row once..none of which were 10c tix...my 10c # ain't getting me anywhere near that close....which just sucks, because i'm a person who doesn't want to be close to the stage...I NEED to be close to the stage!!I need to feel the music flow through me!! and you just don't get that 35 rows back!
so no...you are definitely not alone.0 -
Was a member early, early on and unfortunately a medical condition that lasted 2 years changed my priorities and I forgot to renew... Came back in 08 when they played MSG... I have no complaints though as the seats farther away actually work with my height challenged kids

that was my issue, too...LOVED THEM in 91, held the CD in my hand with the web page on the back and about to logon but my son woke up and it was over. A new husband and family and priorities...didn't think it was appropriate for a new wife & mom to be rockin and obsessed. I was wrong. The obsession took hold again when ITW was released.
Alas, all is not lost. You're here now and should enjoy for all its worth. Just BEING at a show is enough for me. That being said, my seats in Newark were freaking awsome for Ed's ITW solo and PJ's show this past summer...just a luck of the draw.
ENJOY!"Dream the dream others then...you will be no one's RIVAL!"

You're not the only one!
I've literally been listening, very intently, and on a very regular basis, since 'Ten' was released. First time I saw them live was the 'Yield' tour. (NYC, MSG1) After seeing them this year (MSG2) I'm committed to seeing them at least twice each tour leg. I was a bit slack in following the shows, but I know their music inside and out, including all the b-sides, rarities, covers, etc. I LOVE THIS BAND and have for two decades.
Then I decided to finally join Ten Club in early 2010. Not sure why it took me so long. Still don't have a 'Deep' mag or 7" to show for it, but I'm not bitching. I'm more than happy to put more money into these guys' pockets for all the joy they've given me."I know I was born and I know that I'll die...the in between is mine"0 -
Late joiner too. We're here now which is all that matters

I joined "late" which was late 2003.
There is noticeable improvement every year on my seat location, and shows like Cleveland, Buffalo, etc my seats are very close on the wings. Even in Toronto I would consider the seats to be great.
MSG I was back of the floor but I dont mind because the risers in the back.0 -

Me too, Section 238 i think it was, and the guy i sold my other ticket to didn't come to the seat, so i had two seats and concrete booth infront of me. i was jumpin around like a kid on christmas morning.0 -
just curious as to what the number of a brand new member joining in 2010 is? can anybody share?0

I was casual fan early on and through 90's became bigger and bigger especially over last 10 years(did not join until last year after coming back from Philly 4) as modern "music" and i use that term loosley, has almost ceased too exist IMO. Used to be able to get decent seats through my work at area venues, but no longer that easy as I no longer work security and most of my contacts have moved on and we r lucky to see PJ every 3-4 years in Albany NY area. Although ED was here for solo tour for a week and did 2 shows, but I was away. Not sure of benefit of 10c seats as I hear alot of people complaining about where there got seats as long time member and I really like to know where I am sitting, did well via stub hub for Philly and real well for hartford via ticketmaster lower level 12 rows up on aisle stones side for $66 each. However I do, surprisingly enjoy the banter and discussion and talking PJ and music with more or less like minded people. Also just renewed membship today!
