Why does it have to look like thunderstorms on both Bridge School days? Has this happened before? Is there any possible way to be comfortable on a slanted lawn in the mud and torrential downpours? I'm bringing my 4 year old, and I'm starting to seriously doubt if it's even worth the effort for us to go.

Ugh.

I have been in similar situations with Alpine VAlley, and the amount of rain plays a huge factor. The hill can turn muddy and slippery and be less then fun. I would say try it out, and if worse comes to worse take off a bit early, nothing wrong with chancing it, right?

Thats tough with a little one too. Must wonder if the child will enjoy hours in the rain with mostly adults, listening to adult music. Not the same as a fun day out in the "park" in the warm sunshine.

She loves crowds of friends and live music, but yeah... forecast is 62 degrees & rainstorms. Eek. Gonna head down and see if we can tough it out, at least for a bit.

Get her a slicker, with a hoodie..or just a plain old fashioned plastic bag and a warm hoodie underneath. She'll be ok. After all, she can report to her kids and grandkids later on...how she battled the elements at such a tender age to see the phenomenal and revered band of the century!

Nope, I'm the dad - momma's coming along today with us though! Judging from how hard it's raining at the moment it looks like we're gonna need to stock up on some more rain gear...
