  • I saw Three Fish play in the basement of St. Andrews Hall back in the late 90's. That would be a great place to see PJ play. It holds about 200 people. It could be just like early 1991 all over again for them.

I did Karaoke there and afterwards immediatley proceeded to vomit on the floor... (Many years ago)

    PJ deserves a bit better.

Just saw the pumpkins there not too long ago. Great place, descent show but the crowd was absolutely awful.

Yeah, the crowd was kind of lame when I went there too. Beautiful there though.

Definitely! That was my first time going there. I was kinda taken aback at first. It'd be pretty amazing to see PJ there.

don't they have a football team too? Tigers? I can't remember because the packers always crush them!
Also, Detriot doesn't have a venue that stands out... It is close enough to Alpine Valley, they should do three nights there for MO, IL, WI, OH, and all the other Midwest Folks that want to see Pearl Jam at a great venue close to home...
Detroit? Nah, lets go Alpine... THen head to Colorado for three nights at Red Rocks, then finish with a beautiful sunset at the gorge!
    PLEASE!

Except Michigan's economy isn't too hot [not that anyone's is] and the state is blue collar, so you fuckers should travel to us! :D

    I third this... :)

But I think it would be a problem for eV to come here due to bad economy. Or even for the entire PJ!

Hey, don't yell at another Detrioter!

But I absolutely love the idea! But how many TC would be pissed off if only 150 could get in? :p

Not going to happen... not with the Mayor K scandal shit going on. lol.

you're right on about that. and kwame has balls big enough to hit PJ up for a donation to his legal defense team....he would equate his troubles to the WM3 and want ed to auction off another guitar...

    don't laugh.
    it could happen.

    *nods*

Very sad.... so much corruption coming out in the open, it's mind-blowing.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any riots... esp with the 61 million dollars being withdrawn due to failure of filling out taxes.

    *shakes head in disbelief*

So, yeah, unfortunately I agree that it is going to be a good while before our favorite band visits us. :(

I would love to see that kid who is suing mayor for the murder of his mother on the stage with eV.

That 14 years old kid has a lot of balls even though I personally think his chance of winning is very slim with all the public protective people, e.g. police and lawyers, covering and protecting the mayor's ass.

Umm grand rapids is practically Minnesota. # detroit dates I would definitely do. We could pack any venue around here. I say they play The Palace, Joe Louis, and Comerica back to back to back.
I could handle this. I would rather see them play Busch Stadium!

Ok, so maybe they could play The Palace, Joe Louis, Comerica, and Busch Stadium! :)

How's that mayor you have? Is he in jail yet?

I vote for GR or East Lansing. Detroit is fine 2, but I vote the other 2 first. GR was one of the best shows on the last tour..i am just sayin. They haven't been to East Lansing since 98. I would like to take my son (whom I was pregnant for at the time!) to see them in EL. Since we were wishing...;)

If I am going to go 3 hours to Grand Rapids I would rather spend another hour an goto Chicago where at least there is something to do afterwards.....waiting for all the Grand Rapids crybabies to start whining now.

I don't chime in on this board very often, but a Detroit Show is MUCH NEEDED! Saw PJ at The Palace in 06 and was a great show. I would LOVE to see them play The Fox or The State again. NO DTE Please. Not a fan of outdoor concerts in Michigan summers (my Irish bones don't like the heat very much)
