I've Just Seen A Face - Eddie & The Beatles

Okay.
I would post this in another "I've Just Seen A Face" thread, but unfortuantely "Just", "Seen", and "Face" are all "too common" to do searches on, or at least thats what it tells me ... and adding "beatles" doesn't help.

I made this for someone i'm missing right now.
Figured i'd share it with whomever is quick enough to catch it while it's still here.

Nothing earth shattering.

But it is a nice chance to hear Eddie and the original Beatles line up rocking out as close to together as they'll ever get.

    Heh nice job on the MP3. At first I thought you may have morphed Eddies vocals over the original.. Thanks for the MP3 though, at least it makes the wonderful track longer so I don't have to replay it every 60 seconds, lol..

    Either way I still stand by my original thread. This song needs to be played more! In it's entirety.

    But i like it.

    In hindsight i probably should have equalized the volume of the Beatles "Seen A Face" portion ... its about 2Db too high, at least.

    Oh well.

    Maybe next time.

    FYI, this file,
    the best part comes with only about 30 seconds left, IMHO.

    Only real "mash up" bit i did -- had to raise the pitch a scosch ... a few stupid tricks, anyhow.
    But it worked well, i thought.

    wait in the "ive just seen a face" is it just eddies version before the original version? i was hoping you mixed the vocals or something but i dont hear ed at all over the beatles? cool idea tho!

    no,
    my original intention (why i made the piece) was just to use eddies acapela bit as an intro to the song ...

    i can try and mix them up, but he is not in key or on tempo with the original ... realy not that big a problem, but he will end up sounding kind've neutered ...

    the real problem is the PHRASING.

    I tried to do them (john and eddie) together on the Rain piece, but eddies phrasing is just flat out different ... it won't work.

    damn you eddie!!! yah i was thinking it probably wouldnt line up right... but maybe theres some way to clip it differently with audacity or something... dont bother if its gonna take much effort

    you could clip and sample (or do it manualy in audacity) ... but its gonna start sounding like a techno song ... youd have to start applying reverb to mask cuts ...

    uh, someone feel free to prove me wrong and make some dope Eddie|Lennon mixes, but i'm not a DJ ...

    and the reason i didn't try to do that shit,
    was because i wanted it to still sound like real heartfelt R&Roll ...

    They are both beautiful songs, and i'm not trying to make a Trance Anthem.

    Although that could be cool too.
