I just found this version and the sound quality is awesome! IMO, one of the best Pearl Jam performances of all time and Neil absolutely destroys the solos! Keep on rockin! :D

    I have seen theme play it live at last years Rockin park fesival in Nijmegen and love it!
    Eddie always gets wild at that song.When the tamboriens have trowned in for Eddie Stone was getting hit by it.In the instumental long part he even came off stage and shaked hands with the fans..
    It was my favorite part of the show..

    Top 5 PJ Moments ever. My jaw dropped somewhere in the first :30 seconds of Animal and did not return to proper form until 'bout half hour later. Can't say just how much i loved this performance.

    Ah yes, the good old day's of music television. I remembered watching this live & it's repeated program right after on Much Music. We'll never see something special like this ever again on music cable TV. :(

    Incredible performance, there's not much else to say! Neil + PJ = perfection! Can't wait to go crazy and jump up and down & experience this live someday, always been one of my very favorite PJ covers.

    Just wish MTV stuck to their roots more, would have been awesome to grow up with it being an actual music television channel instead of the crap it has become, minus a show or two. But oh well, thank god for YouTube.

    I'll never forget this performance.. Ever!! This was before you could see pearl jam at the click of a mouse.. I remember waiting for the new pearl jam song and could hardly contain myself when Christian slater introduced them and they ripped into animal... Amazing it knocked me off my feet and then this old dude came on and the rest was a blur ... Still gives me goose bumps to this day, ahhh the good old days ...
