Holy shit!!! Outstanding!! Only the second time ever? Last time in the 50's? That's what I heard on the radio on the way home from work. Damn! Wish I could have seen that game.

  • Thread of the year! What a prediction! :)

Couldn't happen to a greater guy.

We may have been cheering against Philly in '93, but there are tons of Jays fans on the Philly bandwagon this year. We'd love to see Halladay get that World Series he so much deserves.

Oh, i see that now. the thread title has changed a few times during it's life. Never mind, 81, the no hitter is way more astounding!

in all fairness, the title was only changed once during the game, and one after the game.

From a blue jay fan, congrats Philly. you got yourself the best pitcher in the game. I just hope that this drebak guy is going to be good. As a flyers fan, i just hope that this year we learn from the phillies and win the cup.

i've been saying for years that halladay is the best active pitcher in the league, now that that he's in a better market everyone else is catching on. i feel great for the guy, and i think he's starting to reserve himself a spot in cooperstown.
