    It does kinda suck that we have to wait for news but that began with third party websites like whatrecords (no offence to them at all) choosing to inform their customers. The fact that some of you here chose to share the info (nothing wrong with sharing) then proceeded to berate 10C and the mods on the Forum for continuing to let us go uninformed is childish to say the least.

    Just because we've gotten used to getting everything now, now, now! doesn't mean we can bully info out of ppl who are just doing their job.

    And whoever stated that this is a chat room and not a forum any longer - errr..... Even if you were to threaten 10c to uphold this as purely a Forum all it would mean is that it's for discussion - and that's what it is as far as I know - maybe not for those of you who seem to live here :lol::lol: Look to the Message Board, emails and announcements if you want news and info. Otherwise does it really hurt that we get info & news from elsewhere?

    It might be a Philly set but it would be stupid to do that because we already got that set months ago... they should release some music from the past - prior to Binaural tour.

    Or maybe it's time for a new live dvd - that would do :D I saw a cameraman in Dublin, Belfast and Berlin....

    I don't think this thing is going to be released in early November, as some of the websites have mentioned. If it was, this thing would have been confirmed by now. If it's coming out in November, they know what's in the box.

    However, I wouldn't be surprised if I walked into HMV in a few weeks to pick up Darkness and saw it sitting there, without any official word here. If I was sure it was coming out I'd be putting aside some cash, as I'm doing for Darkness. Should it come down to a choice, Springsteen wins. He let me know about a November release weeks ago.

    There are so many bullshit threads here demanding tour dates. They'll announce a tour when they're good and ready, and that's fine. This is different - a release is rumoured and already paid for by some. When future tours swing by my country, I'll say hello. They tell me months in advance, so I'm prepared. Some of us don't/can't plan our lives around PJ tours. Life is short, and spending all your holidays following a rock band around doesn't feel like living life to the full to me. I will, however, spend my dollars, euros and shekels on new music - live or studio. I've been buying PJ stuff for 17 years. My wallet is open, but it isn't deep. 10c, you're the public face of the band, so talk to me. Should I be dropping pennies in the piggy bank? Talk to me. Are we getting excited over nothing? Talk to me. Otherwise, stop charging me $25 for a vinyl single and the privilege to join a chat room and participate in a concert ticket lottery every 2/3 years.

    this is actually part of the reason my membership has expired and I'm still considering not renewing (I'm almost at the end of my 3 month flex period). I'm starting to question what I'm really getting out of this.

    -spending too much time on a forum at work that just causes me stress (AMT)
    -getting a vinyl single once a year (usually) that I can't even spin
    -the possibility of them touring to my neck of the woods, which they've done twice in 20 years
    -a magazine with a bunch of merch ads and letters from little girls

    However, the positivity on the board lately (besides this thread) has been overwhelming. That in itself to me might be worth the $25.

    the positivity on this board has gone way down since its a 10c only board. way to many elitist kissass's and holier then thou fans that can see pj do no wrong in their eyes. this board isn't worth the 25 bucks, seriously save your money. you can still keep in touch with fans that you like chatting to on facebook.

    the only reason why i'm in this fanclub is for merch, hitting the lottery and the rare chance of 10c only nyc show. not like my fanclub seats are great and thats if i dont get shut out of them while fans from the world get 10c tix to my hometown venue.

    I quite facebook last week. not being around before it was public, I don't know the difference. for a while before backspacer came out it got a bit rauncy around here, but lately it's been awesome.

    I think the source of much of the negativity is the shroud of secrecy around the 10 Club. It's run like a top secret government agency or something. I had someone there explain to me that they can't announce tour dates until the promoter does. I 100% understand and respect that but why are they pretty much the ONLY band that NEVER breaks their own news? Dating back years....the longer people beg and clamor for news about tour dates, albums, box sets, tickets and posters....the more volatile they get and a division then forms between those who want the truth and those who refuse to admit the band does a single thing wrong.

    I agree with what some have said....why are we even paying $20 a year for a late newsletter featuring recipes, propaganda and interviews with members of OTHER bands? And a really late vinyl. And overpriced hoodies and socks. And news for side projects but not the band. And promised things not delivered (backspacer DL's). And a message board once viewable on an iPhone for free now only viewable when I purchase a $3 app. And late news. And sometimes NO news (have they even acknowledged the Into the Wild vinyl re-release?). I have been previously told by mods that if I had any issues with the 10 Club, please direct them to <!-- e --><a href="mailto:info@tenclub.net">info@tenclub.net</a><!-- e -->....which I have. Once and awhile they do respond. Sometimes very very helpful and friendly. Sometimes very brief with vague info. Recently no reply at all (Phil Collins song!).

    10 Club....Do you see you are pushing fans away? Aren't fan clubs supposed to take care of the most loyal fans and draw more fans in?

    They are usually good, but a pre-order for A$19.99 suggests that maybe there is a not-so-super deluxe version as well as a big fat one that us TenClubbers may get or what we have seen on What Records.
