So i have the big binder from jerrys art supply. I have filled about 10 sheet in there. Was wondering about how many sheet u would put in that before u get another binder. If the posters are in there good will the weight oress them down and ruin them. Just curious out there how many sheets people have in there before they get another binder. Any added info would be great thanks See u all at the Bridge Shows!!!!

I think it holds 40 sheets... and I think I have about 35 in mine. I think the weight helps flatten the posters. I haven't seen any ruined because of this.

I do 35 per portfolio. 70 gig & art prints per case. Say's you can do 40 sheets (80 prints) but it get's heavier. Best to have some air & movement inside the cases/prints.
  • How many portfolios do you have demetrios (if you dont mind my asking)?

  • Speaking of poster storage, I had a couple Q's also:

Do you get to choose the backboard color (white/black) for your sheets when you order them through jerry's :?:

What's the technical term for the corner pieces that hold down the edges of the prints :?: Does jerry's have these also :?: Who does if not :?: Are these safe for the prints (acid-free, etc.)?

    Thanks :!:

Mine doesnt fit well. I took a punt on this for the 3 klausen euro ones, and they just fit. Perhaps a mm hanging over the top, but the ring things don't align. But mine isn't from Jerry's. I have a pocket in the folder that I am keeping them in. Sleeved of course.

Google archival corners (some places call them photo corners and some places call them mounting corners) but you can get them in archival quality. There are different sizes ... I prefer the larger size (75mm) cut-out corners.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

I use my Itoya Art Portfolio 18x24 sometimes for smaller prints. I pretty much emailed their head office so many times asking them if they would ever make a 24x36 run but they said they have no plans on making one that size. I bought one cause I read over @ Expressobeans it was the recommended portfolio to use, just the size was the problem for bigger prints.

Hey Guys -- can someone post a link to a binder/portfolio they think is a good one for storing posters? I've never bought one before and am hoping someone with more knowledge can point me in the right direction so I don't buy the wrong thing.

    Thanks.

Jerry's always has sales, so sign up for the newsletter. The 24x36 portfolio I linked holds any and all prints. The 18x24 smaller one wont hold such gems as the Mansfield 08s.
