    THIS IS MY BEST SPECULATION (from following this thread) - without official confirmation we don't know.

    It is an official live collection being released by Universal / Island.
    It is definitely coming out as a Deluxe boxed set including the live tracks on both CD and Vinyl, along with posters and other goodies - this will retail at quite a premium price, and may be designed primarily for the UK market. It appears to be being 'made to order' - probably due to the vinyl element.
    It may or may not have an accompanying 'standard CD' release through mainstream channels - retailing at average 'single CD' price.

    As for the content? Based on translations of two different mainstream Japanese websites - the first only 'describing' the tracklist, the second giving a tracklist - we may have an idea of the final tracklisting
    It appears it may be a live collection with songs plucked from different shows, similar in the idea and the length to Live on Two Legs.

    The reason I am convinced about this is that the two Japanese website translations appear to be describing the same tracklists. Here are the two translations side by side:

    i still think this is gonig to be a philly boot vinyl death=the end of the specrtum..two legs=firtst two nights then the next two.


    with 4 vinyls ,2 cd, dvd (maybe shorter version)4 posters tom tomorrow.

    still think the philly dvd will come out 4 disc set..

    i cant see it being that set list for a second...got to have whip it on vinyl.. :o bugs ,rats,,i might even ask for sweet lew.

    its can only be days before we find out from either the 10c or anther web site....guess which im thinking it will be :roll: :roll:

    OK, cool - so this suggests the Japanese website has a partial tracklist - that the collection is indeed a lavish vinyl-friendly Philly collection to mark the passing of the spectrum.

    I still believe it is likely to also come out as a straightforward CD-only set at average price - but tenclub should tell people this, since there may be those who don't want to shell out so much for a vinyl box set when they would settle for a CD pack (although this is already in the goods section isn't it?)

    Are we talking then about a mainstream release of the Philly Spectrum shows - since not everyone in the world comes on here.... or about a limited edition box set for Philly, including both vinyl and DVD stuff. Either way it sounds a lot smarter than my speculative version!
