Say RW at the United Center in Chicago monday night and all I can say is...HE IS A MUSICAL GOD!!! It was the most awesome show I have ever seen. When The Wall came out in 1980 I was 22yrs. old and at that time when they did the tour, they only went to NY & LA so I never saw it. I only wish David Gilmore would have shown up to do Comfortally Numb! Anyway I am soooooo glad I got to see him do The Wall. Saw him twice before, once in 1983 with Eric Clapton as his lead guitar and then in 1999 at the Rosemont Theater. He is a true genius!

  • Saw "The Wall" in Toronto on Sept 15 (first night of the tour)...other than one technical glitch during Mother, it was amazing...the first time i have been to a show where you literally had to watch almost the entire arena for things that were happening...it was totally over the top, self indulgent and grandiose and incredibly enjoyable for all of those reasons...I agree with you that had Gilmore come out for Comfrotably Numb it would have likely blown the roof off the place...not that the other vocalist did a bad job...and to boot, G.E. SMith palying guitar along with Snowy White...
