Hey Daniel, hope you had a great time in Europe man and made it to Ibiza. Last time I saw you was on the way out of the Berlin gig and I think we agreed to do it again next time.. Berlin was pretty amazing and apparently everyone feels the same way! Safe travels wherever you are..

After a very cold and rainy summer, today we had finally a sunny and bright day again,
just as it was in BERLIN (+ NIJMEGEN).
And I had some holidays on my balcony while enjoying just the sky and the MUSIC.
So for the first time I listened to the original bootleg of Berlin (the delivering to Germany always takes a while, especially considering clearing the goods for import) and so, an outlet is needed again:

2010: Nijmegen + Berlin
Peace all within and around.

Always when I read through these threads/ posts I still get confirmation that those 2 performances were brilliant, however, especially Berlin.

And even 3 month later I can recall this very special feeling, a feeling that is so unique + wonderful.
And although I have experienced this feeling several times before during Pearl Jam live gigs, it is still causing some sort of a new experience but always with pure happiness when it rolls over me.

Well, for 10 years seeing PJ live in 2010 has had a special meaning, partly due to evolution partly due to my personal past
So, expectations were high but PJ succeeded, topped it even.

I remember Europe Tour 2000 very well. I saw them first time ever live, “met” them half way through and then I did just like Dimitri in 2010… following them to most shows…
However, that means I also became some sort of a witness of Roskilde. I wasn’t there, but with this tragic gig not only my European Tour 2000 ended but so much more.
I thought about all this in Nijmegen, because this location was big and so festival like. But all went so smooth and good and peaceful, just as it always should be. And the music just wiped away all sad memories and made you love, somehow.
So it was like a release to me! And I thought I was not alone with this and all the good vibes were reflected back and forth between the band and the audience....
Uhhh Nijmegen was a rockin' bummer.
But how big the release even became witnessing Berlin and the statement by the band regarding the happenings 10 years ago....

So, to me Berlin was special right from the start, some kind of final date. And surprisingly the gig became magic and very emotional for everybody: For the band, for my best friends from Italy, probably for REM, for the couple who got engaged that night, for so many and probably for all who were there.
It is all written here... and so I thank all around for the great read.

But the best thing I found out today and want to share is:
Even 3 month later one can recall this feeling, that PJ feeling, that again guided these 2 days, being in the most peaceful surrounding and in tune with this fantastic, astonishing, wonderful music, I wish I could hear forever.
So let's hope so much that THEY come back.
and for the rest:

There I want to be.
There I want to go,
when this existence here is over.
I want to be surrounded and be hold by this Music,
while my mind is walking in space and my body is going to become earth.

Yup. That is my wishlist for today
and p.s. It is like Dimitri says: the Berlin gig was too special, so it gets out the weirdest and funniest things out of people, even by just listening to the bootleg...

i remember standing in the 10c line to get in and chating with bas and eva and after lbc soundcheck..i listen the next one..and jump around like an idiot and scream its Ghost!!!they gonna play Ghost!!!!O.M.G...till i realise was Sad.. and remember talkjing with a Liran from Israel that the only song missing from 2009 show setlist was Black and must play it this year..and u was there Gary...cant describe it with words..
