Holy mother of jesus...when I read that I just imagined laying my head down on a pillow without anyone looking for me to do something for them and just having nowhere to go/or be and it was bliss....who needs the lotto, just give me a bed and a day of V bringing me tea and cake...yup I'm a simple manchime wrote:Am excited ... just booked pretty decent seats for my folks to see Clapton @ The Royal Albert Hall next year as the show is near both their birthdays!

My Mum does a lot ... think my Dad kind of does. It does mean them having to travel hundreds of miles to see him though :P and know it is not something they would think of doing for themselves so not sure how it would go down :?So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -
That's cool Pippa!!!
Gabrielle just dumped on me that she was saving to get tix for Reading Festival next year - going with a few friends. Hopefully, I can tell her we will be on holiday in Morocco when it's Reading (we usually go on hols the last two weeks of August!)0 -

I see.I guess, if nothing else, the feeling of not wanting to let you down (since you've gone through all that trouble) will have them happily boarding a train/car/plane/bicycle.
