Pearl Jam on the radio lately? I have, there's 2 modern rock stations and 2 classic rock stations near town and so far I've heard them playing PJ a lot.

Yesterday I heard "Not For You" and "Glorified G" and today on the way to work heard "Daughter" and "Jeremy" on the classic rock stations.

:D wonder if it has anything to do with the tour. :D

cant say we hear alot of it in Western Australia! We are about 6 months behind all latest releases plus very, very commercial and narrowminded (not me, the radio DJ's) and all they WILL play of PJ is Jeremy. Urgh.

lots of Pearl Jam on the radio? nope.. :o

(I know, I know, the tour wouldn't affect us anyway.)

THOUGH! one night, a rocky station (the only one I listen to) played Spin the Black Circle at 3:16 AM! :D

I know this cause I was still awake and I remember this cause I wrote it down. lol. (the reason I made a note of that occasion was cause I'd only ever heard Alive, Last Kiss or Daughter from that station before.)

Pearl Jam are easily the most played band near me. I only listen to the radio when I am driving which usually isnt too far and I do not go a day without hearing them on the radio.

I don't listen to the local rock station in my area. That station will play some good songs every now and again, but mainly it's crap that I have no desire to listen to. I mainly stick with sports talk radio or cds.

In CT we have a station that plays quite a bit. I even heard Glorified G on there. :)

Pearl Jam gets a lot of love in the San Diego area. Between 94.9 and 91.1 they both play various songs throughout their catalog. Sometimes 94.9 will rebroadcast their most recent concert from San Diego 06, which was an awesome show!

PJ is radio friendly. They can be played on classic, modern, alternative, independent. They do get air time.

Krock here in New York has been on a Pearl Jam kick lately (I'm assuming by how well they did on their tournament) and Q104 will often play Jeremy or Betterman. So yea, fairly good air time.

You know, i live in Bremerton and Port Orchard, right accross the water from Seattle, and while we do get a lot of PJ on the radio, it's not as much as you would think for Seattle radio stations. 99.9 has been with the band since it's inception, (They even interviewed Jeff and Stone about TOTD before it ORIGINALLY came out) and they do play plenty of PJ, it's usually just Even Flow or Alive. I could probably say with confidence that these two songs make up 85 % of PJ's radio airplay. Now every once in a while a specific DJ will play a gem (Specifically I've heard The Ricker play Glorified G, and Love Reign Over Me), But it is disappointing that these two songs define the entire Pearl Jam catalog on the radio.
Don't get me wrong, they are obviously two very fucking sweet songs, but there are so many more, and you'd figure on a Seattle radio station, you'd get more.
