Yet another "who would play the guy's in a movie" thread
I know there's been countless threads about who would play the guys if they made a movie about the band, and Russel Crowe could be a convincing older Eddie, but what about young crazy Ed?
Well I finally watched the movie The Stoned Age this weekend. I had been kinda silently boycotting the movie because some assholes that I know were always saying how much better it was then Dazed and Confused. On principle alone I had to reject it because I knew it was blasphomy. So I finally sat down and watched it, and it was entertaining, but no where close to the genius and classic that is D&C.
Anyways, to get to the topic, the guy who plays Hobbs looks a hellva lot like young Eddie. So much so that I couldn't even watch the movie without thinking of him being Ed. There were some scenes where they could'va been twins. Now I know he's probably older now, and doesn't look the same, but I don't think I've seen anybody else who looks like Ten-era Ed more.
I don't know, just a late night, drunk induced thought.

It's all about the music...

Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self
as talented and important as they are, there are still MANY other bands/musicians out there (past and present) that are more important than pearl jam... movies should be made about them.
for instance: why the FUCK hasn't a GOOD movie been made about the beatles? i do realize there's one coming out called "nowhere boy", but that focuses more on john lennon growing up, not the beatles.
& nothing tops Dazed & Confused!! 'You just gotta keep on livin', man. L-I-V-I-N'
Bob Saget as Stone Gossard, on stage in front of thousands, stops mid-set to do a stunning rendition of The Aristocrats...
Most amazing bootleg ever.
