    hello
Mr Plant or "Bob" as I like to call him hehehe was fab on very good form, really loved the lady singing with him Patti Griffin, infact all of them had fine voices ! really good gig bit short sadly but ment I was in bed by 1230am which was nice. couple of the tracks were a lil jingerly jangerly for me but there were some great ones too, I love Angel Dance, or whatever its called. felt speacil seeing him in such a Beautiful building.

so how are you all ? has it been a good summer for you? I have missed you and missed PJ news, did see the Ed & Johnny vid    VERY NICE ~ sandwhich !!!!!!!!

we're had a wonderful summer ~ not one bit of mud in 5 festivals :D thats a miricle hahaha
its full steam ahead now for my international world class belly dancer coming to stay and teach and a big show at end of the month, I'm very excited about it and must get the website finished !!!

Bob   Can't wait for tonight....

Thought of you V yesterday... my boss went to stay somewhere in Hereford where there were tipis and yurts... she loved it!

Excitement with belly dancing, I see! I'm desperately trying to finish a rather big cake with a steam engine on top before I leave for Plant tonight! Was up until after midnight with it yesterday....
  • Morning all.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

As V said gig was lovely :D ... and short :P ... think it was 8 songs. But was an album promo thing so can't expect too much  ...and there were free drinks! ... although I kept one of my drinks tokens to go in my ticket box as no tickets

Venue was lovely ... by my count front row was 10 people :o

Image is too big to put in post ... but this is the place (no seats for us rowdy lot though) 8-)

Nope... working. Less than 4 hours sleep and up late tonight again! The cake is for work - a guy is retiring and and his hobby is steam trains. My manager asked me if I could make a novelty cake for him. And I said OK

G's birthday in 2 1/2 months though. She wants a three-tier topsy-turvy cake (a joint sweet sixteen with two other mates). That will keep me busy!

    The venue is splendid!

    Axl is such a knobjockey!

Busy day in work today, I had to eat lunch at my desk and I hate having to do that, so I figured I'd come on here and express my disgruntlement!
    This is me:

are ye eating mccain micro chips whilst working over some micro chips... cos that would be both ironic and a shit joke.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I pretty much always eat lunch at my desk :(

Axl is a prat. Protests at Reading and Leeds cause they pull the plug at curfew ... do they get to protest at having to stand around for hours waiting for you to grace them with his presence?? (High fives to those in Dublin that showed their disgruntlement through the medium of bottles  ) Idiot  ... a festival that big is really going to risk losing their licence for him

Al enjoy your gig in November ... I kinda wish I was going to the full gig tonight. Have fun Rita

A friend was there. He was not impressed - regardless of all usual Axl antics.

Pip... I'm wondering if I will have a spare. Bought two tickets just in case as I am having conflicting info as to whether a companion for disabled is allowed in free or not. The problem is that I will only know around 6.45-7.00. Probably much too late for you.
