    Iron Maiden,Edinburgh Playhouse ... 1984's Powerslave Tour ... drank to much home made wine before gig,I was hanging from the balcony lighting rig ... fantastic night was had ... paraded my new first gig t-shirt at school the next day :D

    glasgow secc 1987. Into the fire tour.

    Forget what mr Adams has turned into these days... He used to be really rockin' once. I think his biggest hit, everything i do, sealed his fate. don't get me wrong good song. and i still like him, just that he's changed for the worse in my opinion.

    Yeah, last time I was there was 2006. I love Jacksonville with a passion. I lived down there for 4 years from 2000-2004 and had a hard time leaving.

    would have loved to have seen maiden back then. my first maiden experience was also at the playhouse on the seventh son tour, 1998, about 3-4 rows from the front. amazing experience.

    My first gig was also SECC.

    Think my 2nd was at Edinburgh Playhouse
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    It would have been Sly and the Family Stones/James Brown but a riot cancelled the show. :cry: Then in 1978 I did see my first concert The Isley Brothers with Teddy Pendergrass great great show. Two weeks later I saw Kiss and I have NOT been able to hear well ever since.

    Odd thing a year earlier at the same Capital Centre, MD I had a choice of seeing a concert there or see the opening of Star Wars I choose Star Wars. Oh the band that same Friday night....Led Zeppelin! 8-) I wish I could have that choice back.

    My parents rule was that I could not go to a concert until I was 16. This show was exactly one week before my 16th birthday and I begged them to let me go and they caved. I was a big metal head at the time and thought it was a great show.

    My first big name show was David Bowie with Nine Inch Nails opening in September of 95. By the way Bowie came on as NIN was finishing their set and they did a few songs together. Scary Monsters sounded incredible!!!
