    Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was so surprised to receive the membership, and then to see all the Happy Birthday wishes from all over the world has just left me speechless. I want to read each one and send a personal note back, but for right now a quick note to everyone to say you have made my day. I knew I had a special daughter, but she and my granddaughters have really outdone themselves this time. It may take a day or two to respond to everyone, but I promise I will get to all 122 of you. Thanks again for making me feel so welcome. I hope to actually meet some of you at a concert during the next tour. :clap: :clap: :wave: :wave:

    I really might faulter and need my daughter's assistance if called on stage . . . . . . ;)

    welcome!! You're finally here and I'm a mess.. A little quote to welcome you.. So glad you enjoyed your gift.. I've been asking for my membership paid as gidfts for Bday and Christmas for a while now.. lol glad to know your birthday was so special..:-)

    My mom and I were telling my sister about the PJ membership and the 122 private messages she received for her birthday present. My sister gave me the slow "uh-huh" head nod when she heard mom had a fan club membership (similar to head nod my mom used to give me back when I made her listen to PJ music that I mentioned at the beginning of this thread). She gave another "uh-huh" head nod when I told her that I posted this thread on the fan club forum asking people to send the PM and that people from all over the world did it for us. Not once did she say "wow, that's so neat" or anything. She just nodded slowly in silence as mom and I relived the experience.

    This reaction of hers just confirms the love for PJ is one that not everyone understands and that is fine. The best part of this though is that after she watched mom and I taking turns with the story and laughing, etc... my sister is staring at me oddly and the conversation that followed is:

    Sis: :? Did you have dental work done?
    Me: :shock: No. Do you think I should have some done?
    Sis: No. It's a compliment really. I've not seen you smile and laugh so much in a long time. I thought maybe you had dental work done and you were trying to show it off :?
    Me: :lol::lol::lol:

    Love my sis... but she clearly doesn't understand how happy PJ and the PJ community makes me. Silly gal. :roll:

    Now you know why mom chose me to live near :lol::o :shock: :o

    I absolutely love it. My mom was baptized today into the Ten Club. She purchased her first set of tickets :).

    Our conversation through text after 31 minutes of trying to buy tickets:
    Mom: Just got it
    me: :) happy day :)
    Mom: and stressful!!! Makes you want to wing the laptop at the fireplace"

    Our conversation on the phone was about how the tickets were in her cart, then they weren't, then she'd go back and start over at step 1 - three times. Finally 25 minutes in, she got to the page where you enter the credit card information and then...you know it...YIKES.. timed out. I responded with - "Welcome to the benefits of being in the club. :) Hang in there!". So I counseled her through a few minutes and then told her to hang up so she could use both hands on the tickets.

    She will be very happy she stuck with it and I know she will enjoy the show! I'm so excited for her!

    So glad to hear how Pearl Jam brings togeather families :D I hope she spent that wish On the EV tix. :D
