How 'bout a "small-town only" tour?Dates posted here only...

Wouldn't it be great for PJ to do a small, cheap, small-town tour for us small-town fans? Nothing need be fancy, just a chance to see the best band ever performing in whatever capacity they'd like to. Fell in love with them as soon as they became known on the East coast, then proceeded directly into "College, kids, marriage, work" track. What I wouldn't give to see them play.

    that would be nice, but we both know that it will never happen. Maybe back in 2000 or 2003 - but their tours after that have proven that they only play places with a big market

    sigh...how right you are. What a shame I may never see them play live. Guess I can continue to live vicariously through youtube and sites like this...Never hurts to dream, though, right?

    I would love to see them follow the footsteps of Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson and do a tour of minor league ballparks. Or maybe even see Ed do this solo. . . . or maybe Ed/Ben Harper, or Ed/Neil Young??? hmmmmm.

    Where are you from? Maybe they'll play somewhere that's at least in the vicinity of where you live some time... Don't give up hope! :)

    Beulaville, NC...how's that for small town? It's all good. I know I'll get to see them one day. Been hard to get time to travel to their stomping grounds what with family, work, etc. Thanks for the support, folks, you guys are the best ever.
