I was reading the Wiki on Mirrorball and noticed that it says Ed was dealing with some serious "stalker issues" around the recording of the album.

Can anyone validate this or provide some info on the subject?

Is this the same stalker that is the subject of "Lukin"?

That dude who was screaming Bush 08 is lucky he didn't do that around 1993. Ed def would not have laughed it off, and probably would have beat the shit outta him.

Note related to this topic--during the Riot Act tour Fricke from RS asked Ed what he thought of Eminem and he said that he could relate to the song "Stan." I assume he was talking about the crazy bitch that stalked him.

he went into some detail about how you try get involved with certain fans.
he had some examples of people that had written to him grateful for his help, and others who always wanted more. a fan would be kissing his ass one letter and telling him hes a fcuking prick the next....then he mentioned this really bad stalker around time of No Code and that was when he realised he couldnt help everyone.

Stan in the song seems to be a fairly close parallel of eds stalker. except eds one knew where he lived and seemed to want to kill him.

    fucked up shit.
