That's right!

New Soundgarden album is out on 9.28.10!

I guess it's more than just a couple of live shows now!

Just to let you know, it's not a new album and the "new" single: "Black Rain" isn't a new song at all, it's from the Badmotorfinger sessions in 1991, some of the vocals were recently rerecorded apparently but the album is a greatest hits retrospective titled "Telephantasm" CD/DVD. It will be released on 3 different formats, featuring Soundgarden's greatest hits and other live material, and "Black Rain" is previously unreleased! It's rumored that the band will work on new material in the near future, and yes a tour is expected for 2011, but I'll believe it when I see it. Below is a link featuring the track listings for the 9/28/10 release. I hope this helps!

I'll definitely buy Black Rain, but probably won't get the entire album. I really don't need a greatest hits album when I have all of their studio albums. Never bought A-sides but have Bleed Together. I'll just hold out for something new next year and hopefully a tour with a show in TX.
