Here we go again..

Why why why would you want PJ to play Glastonbury.. Getting a ticket A) Would be impossible B) It's fuckin expensive!!!

And for future note they won't be touring next year at all, if they did then towards the end.

Oh I'm sorry.. you're right.. I'll start a thread about how "dud" some of PJ's songs are or how Matt is better in SG... yep, thats better than hoping they'd play at an amazing festival I have been to 10 times (never not got a ticket) and would love to see my favourite band at.
Sorry for the positivity dude. :?

I think those threads are pretty interesting. Well I was only trying to inform.

Well IMO festivals suck ass big time which has now been proven from the previous tour and the money factor is still there.

More difficult than getting PJ tickets? Apart from this last tour I would disagree.....

I could come to Greece afterwards... :)

If PJ played Glastonbury next year, yeah I'd break the piggy bank open again for a ticket just for the chance to see them again but I'd rather they avoided festivals really. HRC was a great day out and if that had been the only show this year then it would still have been worth the trip. I personally think a PJ show at Glastonbury would be ok as long as the setlist was on par with Reading 06 but headline shows at 02/MEN type arenas are where PJ shine brightest and don't forget Wuhlheide which should be an annual event!! :D
A small 2-3000 seat theatre tour would be a great way to see them too but I've not finished wrapping my time machine in foil yet. Will post again when complete.... :)
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/12

its more easy to find a perfect fake passport than to apply for a ticket there..

Don't get me wrong.. a 5 night residency at Brixton academy would be a dream come true! Glasto, for me, is more than a festival.. for years it was a tradition to go.. I used to get my ticket off my mum for my birthday... I used to go the local record shop and by my ticket which was torn out fo a book.. serioulsy... These days it is very different I concede... but its still a special event.

PJ at Glasto would be immense, becasue they woud be part of a movement. Glasto is more than a festival its a institution..... In fact I would say the ethos of PJ and Glasto is very similar.

After reading that, I think he was referring to Soundgarden. He says "There is an American artist I have been wanting for years and years", so it fits for Soungarden because they have been broken up until and now that they are reunited, he can book them.

Since Glasto books such a wide range of artists, my guess is Simon and Garfunkel!

It'll be really easy when the American artist is confirmed as Madonna! They have tried to book her for years.

I would love PJ to play glastonbury next year... why not, why wouldn't they play one of the best festivals in the world, they seem to enjoy festivals.... maybe like to mix it up a bit. My favourite PJ gig is Reading 06. Don't know why people think PJ won't tour next year. I'd be surpriused if they didn't. Would love this coz even if I couldn't get tickets I could watch them on TV with a beers and some pretzels, i'm getting old now.

also all these beans [human]beans that say galsto doesn't do heavy ! shit man they had slash this year.
also to all those that say glasto is expensive £185 for 5 days including camping take your own drink and food plus you have 22 different areas with all this going on http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up-poster/ plus more compared to £180 for 3 days 6 areas with thishttp://www.readingfestival.com/lineup/index.aspx yes take your own food and drink BUT AND THIS IS A BIG BUT you cant take it into the arena so you have to pay top dollar in side. shit man work it out its not the krypton factor im already registered old son glasto is the best festi of the year and also if you make not to expensive .
i like you positive altitude old son

I knew you wouldn't be far from this discussion! :D Hope you're well mate and had a good summer despite the lack of PJ shows. Not being much of a festival fan I'd settle for an arena tour any day but who could deny PJ on the pyramid stage would be a top event with the right setlist. If it was the only show next year who's really going to sit home and miss something that could be really special. I've had enough regrets about missing PJ shows to last me forever!! :|
