2005 Brazil shows Transportation Question

Hello,
I am toying with the idea of hitting some shows in Brazil if the band plays there this fall or spring. The primary purpose would be taking a vacation and seeing sites, but I would want to see a couple shows also. I would defintely hit a show in Rio and maybe Sao Paulo or somewhere. Obviously, the show locations could be different from last year but generally speaking how difficult would be to attend some shows without a car?
