    Inside Job and the lights are low and Mike has his double guitar and is playing that very beautiful beginning and Eddie is getting ready to sing those incredible first few lines in the dark in front of me. That moment.

    ....I like to be in the pool, night swim, no pool light. PJ plays and the water floats me through each song in the darkness. The doggies lay by the edge of the pool and I float over and get a kiss, then float away. Occasionally a frog will come swim with me. I think they think I do not see them. Then I lay back on my floatie and look up at the night sky and believe. I believe everything will be alright. And it is. Pearl Jam's playing, I am drunk, at peace,
    and everything is a-ok.

    my roommates were gone the other night and i just blared pearl jam on shuffle and sung along at the top of my lungs like i was at a show and danced around my room drunk. then i realized that my windows were open and my neighbors were in the front yard, lol. :oops: let's just say pearl jam is not really up my neighbors' alley :P

    My iPod saved me while cleaning bathrooms today. I sang my way through. :D

    Thanks to health problems, my workouts have sucked for a few months. This evening, I had a nice, short run. "Better Days" popped up on my iPod half a mile from home. As the song built up, I got faster and faster, until I was sprinting down my driveway. I can't describe how good that felt; I actually had my racing legs back for a few minutes.

    Anyway:
    When I'm drunk, I drop my fork. When I'm really drunk, I speak German. :oops:

    I'm always in the mood for "In My Tree." But in general, I do not mix PJ with any substances. --> I've listened to the Church for nearly 30 years, and as I like to say, the guys in the Church do drugs so I don't have to.

    Nonetheless, cheers to all of the happy, trippy drunk folks out there. Have one for me. :)
