Love Porch, but I really haven't gotten into the live versions from recent years. Wasn't there to hear this live, but the best Porch I've heard from boots is the version from Melbourne 3/17/95. Ed goes on a classic rant (NW rant) that segways into the song perfectly. Mike's solo is ridiculous and Ed also improvs in the middle.

you can see the rant here and it does lead into porch. but then the video changes and i think they pick up another version of the song from another city, so you miss the improv.....

I was expecting something from '92! Can you really say "never gets old" when it only happened 2 months ago??!! Ed's last haircut is probably older :D

do you know what NW stands for? nobey weenie? new world order? naughty white boy needs a whipping?

    yeah 3/17/95 was awesome.

i forgot how good st. pete in 94 was. absolutely amazing. i think it's between st pete 94 and e rutherford 06. after hearing holmdel and e rutherford i think the e rutherford version blows the holmdel one away. and if you haven't seen it, pink pop 92 is just plain great.

i agree what one poster who said that during the last few tours porch doesn't really seem to go anywhere. it just seems that mike wants to hit as many notes as possible in as little time as possible.

also if you we there, 9/29/96 was really damn cool in regard with the rolling stone article. but to me, e rutherford 06 was the best.

If you love East Rutherford, you have to hear Albany 06.
