Not to the best of my recollection. William Duval of AIC said that he hopes they kick the Netherlands ass.

On a side note, in the afternoon before the show I went to the guggenheim museum and got a pic with Mr. Mike McReady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! New profile pic to be posted when I get home!

Hi rafie, I met you during the Gomez show and you showed me the picture with Mike. I was wearing a "Black" PJ tshirt and a military cap. Are you already back in Israel ? Glad to read that you had a great time in Spain ;) .

So you got back to Israel Raphie! I see you posted your new amazing pic. Remember me? We had a chat during Gomez show with JP Lakers when Eddie was watching them. Thought PJ set it was a pretty good show with a great level of energy from the band. And with a quite acceptable setlist for a festival.
Thought about you when i went to Guggenheim 2 days after the show...
    Cheers

I guess that bringing that guy up from the crowd to sing took too long. Would have loved to hear state of love and trust.

Absolutely! The show was amazing. I was right up front 10 meters away from Mike the whole time.
Gomez were also very good. Never heard them before. Planning on buying their new CD next time I get a chance.

I was at Berlin and Bilbao and I have to say that, while Berlin was amazing and emotive, nice place and good setlist, Bibao was better (and much harder). My guess is in Bilbao PJ members (or Eddie at least) were drunk and they rocked. Eddie even threw the guitar to one side of the stage. Amazing (besides, they played Dissident, my favourite song and one that they don't play that much)

It's not true that spanish people didn't understand what Eddie said. What he talked was easy and many of the crowd understand everything (even the three back steps thing).

Bilbao has been my favourite PJ gig (it was my fourth) and it's awesome to see they look they stay in form as the years pass.

    Gracias, PJ.

    Alfonso.

I mean that, in terms of music & vibe, Bilbao was better than Berlin. Setlist was better, definitely. Obviously, "the beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but Long Road, Push me Pull me or Low light are weaker that Dissident, Rearviewmirror or Hail Hail.
More: Daniel on the stage & Ed talk with Mike as you said. But do you remember that they extended the first 3 songs to 10 min each while Ed was drinking and smoking one cigarette one after another in a corner of the stage? Do you remember Ed throwing the guitar? They rocked out, man.
That bus and all that stuff fit in a different issue that the gig itself.

It's also true that Berlin was more emotive and it was an awesome and unforgettable gig.

Another tip: don't eat yellow snow (just joking).

Nah, it's true that Belrin setlist is, at least, longer. And, yes, maybe not as weak as I remember. But I remeberd said to my mates just after the concert: Best PJ gig I've ever been to, worst setlist. Not because it hadn't the best songs, but there were some weak tunes.

In Bilbao, well, it was a festival, so the setlist is quite a bit shorter, but the energy was, not worst than in Berlin, but different. A little more savage. Grant me that, at least.
