Chicago II from 2009 was pretty good.........Matt gives it a little Dave flavor by speeding the timing up....
  • Atlanta 2003 is pretty awesome as well

  • Zurich '92. The most epic show ever, and definitely the best porch jam.

Just listened to both of the most mentioned - Holmdel & East Rutherford - and yes, they're both amazing.

Stone is utterly spellbinding on the Holmdel version, outshines Mike by quite a way in my opinion.

But for me, East Rutherford sounds like the whole band are locked in a groove, playing off each other so tightly. Each gets their individual space to play, and yet they all complement each other so well. It's "Porch Goes Jazz!"

So East Rutherford gets my vote.

Ty,liked the crowd interaction but it seemed like a average version other then that. Do people give porch versions a higher grade because of ed interaction or the actual solo?

I miss the direction that earlier live incarnations of Porch took with the jam. Now it's just a bit too messy. Although a hell of a lot of fun to play along to on the guitar.

Was front row for the 5/3/98 Melbourne version. If you haven't heard it, you gotta. Mike's solo is awesome. The house lights were brought on just as the song went into the last chorus. Phenomenal.

Yes, but I think the video is what makes it great. The jam itself is cool, but imo not as good as others (see 6/18/92)
