That was how I felt after seeing the Belfast setlist. I could of gone too :(
Not a lot of love for the Dublin show round here but I remember having a great time so that's all that matters. A month on and the boots are here to help us relive it all
2007 London
2009 Manchester
2010 Dublin / London
2012 Manchester I & II / Berlin I & II / EV: Manchester
2014 Amsterdam I & II / Vienna / Berlin / Leeds
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
I was at both shows and enjoyed Dublin far more, it was more intense, an almost non-stop hard rocking show! The Belfast setlist was awesome but compared to the night before the energy was no where near the same level. I was hung over on Pearl Jam maybe.
I made the mistake of not going to London the day after Manchester last year, so was not going to do that again.
But in my opinion Dublin was better than Belfast, simply because, like others have said, the raw energy. And a show with both Porch and Once will always top any other concert for me
Both boots sound great, though. And a reason I might not have liked Belfast as much is because I only had a few hours sleep after drinking all night with my brother and girlfriend in Dublin, and at the show about halfway through this middle aged fat idiot suddenly stood next to me screaming in my ears, leaning on me constantly, and he even started putting his hands on my girl. Not cool ^^ I had to spend about 5 songs concentrating on putting my elbows in his side and telling him to "f*** off", before I finally managed to squeeze me and my gf past him.
