Persistence Pays Off!! Got em!!

I kept clicking, and clicking, and clicking...

Then at 4:17, when I thought all hope was lost, I saw a buy button!! Be persistent, I was and a miracle happened!

    I got the buy button but couldn't add them to my cart...anyone planning on having an extra?

    What do you mean by clicking and clicking and clicking? I kept hitting the refresh button, and at exactly 4:00 and 30 seconds the "Buy" link shows up - I clicked on that and it immediately said "Temporarily out of stock".

    Is that when you kept clicking on the buy link over and over again, and eventually got to buy at 4:17? Any tips you can give are highly appreciated, as I am shooting for DC tix on Wed. HELP!

    so you were the assholes that got those tickets at 4:17 when i saw the buy button and got logged out for no reason... :mad:

    Yeah, I got a BUY button at 4:17, but that's as far as it went.

    Congrats to those who got through. I got in for both MSG's so I can't really complain too much.

    I got the buy button early like you, but then said it was out of stock. I just kept clicking and clicking and eventually I got through. I suggest just doing that until prolly a half hour past when they first went on sale.

    Yeah, I did that 4 times too, the hand is quicker than the eye. I was lucky enough to get them at 4:21pm when I'd been booted for the 2nd time.

    I was told in confidence by a very respected member (and you didn't hear this from me) that there is a secret code -- a shortcut to the front of the (on)line if you will -- to get these highly sought after tickets. I will keep this secret buried in this common thread, so someone special will get a chance. Here goes ...

    You must sing and type - at the same time! - perfect lyrics (x1) to "Don't Gimme No Lip" in the key of Stone; then, at the conclusion, tap your mouse and refresh button (f5) to the chorus x5. Like duh duhna na na duh na na na na duh na na na and so forth (but a click-clacking sound, ya know?). The buy button magically appears, and the tickets are yours! Got it?

    Godspeed, godspeed, fellow fanatics - we must look like crazies at our computers.

    Let me get this straight, how long before the onsale will this code work? I could have seriously just done this last night and secured tickets!?
