    I haven't heard any of the recordings, and this is in no way defending his actions, but it just makes me wonder what she might have done to maybe make him so crazy?

    He's no saint, but yeah, he was married to his last wife for like 30 years, before he was even a movie star. She could have dumped him before he was famous or dumped him in the height of his career and took half. Things definitely went wrong with him.

    So true. He's an abusive fucktard. People just get desensitized to the abuse after a while...it's just not as shocking anymore. I don't really think there's anything you could do to make someone that insano :? pretty sure he got himself there all on his own.

    well, maybe he has 30 years of pent up anger from that relationship? anyway, its tough to judge since we will never know the whole story, just the parts that get made public. But it does sound like his current actions are clearly wrong.

    It's good that she taped it for her own sanity! People like him can be so manipulative and run so hot and cold that sometimes the person they're abusing really starts questioning if it was as bad as they remember. In her case she can validate for herself that YES, he's an abusive asshole. No question there.
