EDDIE VEDDER on TV this Friday Night?

Stand Up to Cancer.
This friday night 3 major networks are joining together to raise money for cancer. Celebs will be answering the phones and tons of musical acts. Now I am not 100% if he will be on there but my guess is yes. I thinks its 1 hour commercial free.
Does anyone have any other news on this?

    yeah- i was reading my entertainment magazine & there was an ad for the stand up 2 cancer TV event & it listed a bunch of celebrities who were to appear
    and our man eddie was on that list!
    so excited!

    i'm positive his name was on this list, because i cut it out before i threw away my magazine so i wouldn't forget the date & stuff
    ...but all these doubts make me doubt myself, even if i have that ad
    oh well, i really do hope he's there
    and if not, it will be unfortunate, but it will still be a great show for a great cause

    *get's dvd recorder, vhs recorder, beta recorder, windows media recorder, etc.. to record this main event.

    liking this commerical free jam. cause i can't stand commericals with a passion.

    told me today that she is one of the phone answering people for SU2C tomorrow night. I asked her if she was prepared for all of the hang ups she was going to get when the caller realized they were NOT going to get to talk to a celebrity. LOL She said there was a whole section on how to handle irate people who wanted to talk to a specific person! ;)

    Make a lot of calls, people! If you get Anna, tell her "Hello!" If you get Ed, call me!

    In this week's Us Weekly (the one with Shannen Doherty on the cover) there is also an ad for the show that lists him as one of the performers.

    There cant be tons of performers playing along with all the celebrities that will be on.It's only an hour long.You might get 10 performers doing about 3 minute songs,so that's a half hour there.That would leave another half hour to have all the celebrities talk about standing up to cancer.
    It should have been a 2 hour show.

    The list of music acts are Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes, and Carrie Underwood.

    I'm sure Ed would rather eat monkey shit than have his name along side this group, no matter what the cause is. He's officially out.

    Good find.. but all that article says is that he supports the show/cause. Since he contributed his song, that might be the extent of his support.
    I guess time will tell.
    For those who scoff at "Jamily" in my name... 9 years ago, when my first daughter was born there were jokes about whether my priority would be my family or PJ. I smiled and quipped "I am a JamilyMan." What was a family joke became a hated term among jammers. Didn't see that one coming!
