    It was a Daily Show bit that MSNBC showed... The Daily Show's ratings are probably much better than MSNBC's :)

    But the point of Lewis Black's rant is pretty spot on about Beck, that guy is a phony snake oil salesman that people just eat up for some unknown reason.

    of course but he fills his niche. he's a total fraud, jackass, hypocrite....he's like that anchor in v for vendetta, so are lots of 'em. even chris matthews pushes lies or misinfo or is just too sloppy to look into things other than taking the government at their word when a 5 second google search could prove otherwise....

    though, glenn beck is a guilty pleasure, if he happens to be on the few times i turn on the tv i become glued, if you don't think of a lot of people swallowing it up but as entertainment it's quite hysterical. i L O V E when he brings out the chalkboard and magnets!! :mrgreen::mrgreen::lol:

    The way I see it, both Glenn Beck and Lewis Black are both fine entertainers that make their income by catering to different ends of the political spectrum. Beck is more gifted as an entertainer, thus better book, TV, and radio deals.

    That said, I prefer wise-cracks to constant doom-and-gloom.
