Did they have to chop an authentic No Code vinyl to do it, though?

shit that could've been my no code lp/
  • yes they chopped a real no code vinyl to do it, had a copy that i had realized was just sitting taking up space on a shelf not being displayed or used for anything. Would rather do something cool with it than sell. I actually got one of the fret board belt buckles last fall and i had always intended on getting one of the wallets and was down to three custom options...the other two were a bit too rare and expensive to go find. Works out better actually cause no code was the coolest option and has slightly more sentimental value to me as an album. actually spent a lot of time combing over the all 4 panels of the collage finding the section i prefered. Vs. made pearl jam my favorite band when i was in 4th grade, but i was in 4th grade so the music connection thing was still a hard concept to grab on a deeper level. No Code is were i really found that with Pearl Jam to start following them intently, going to shows, finding bootlegs, following setlist posts from tours. (although i didnt get to my first show until the yield tour due to age and the fact that they skipped the west coast on the brief no code tour. also i was grounded from what i remember during the stones opening slot shows so missed those.).
No Code though is one of those special records for me where when i hear it, it evokes really strong memories of my life at that time and i'm excited to pay homage to that in an interesting way.
